What a Candle Looks Like Before It’s a Candle

This is what part of the process looks like around here before everything gets cleaned up and pretty.

These candles have just been poured. No labels, no lids and no finished-product photographs yet. At this point we’re mostly watching the wax cool and letting it do what it needs to do.

There are quite a few steps between this and the candle that eventually ends up in someone’s home. Most of them aren’t particularly glamorous, but they’re part of making candles—and we thought you might enjoy seeing some of that side of Fire Mountain too.

We’ll share more of it as we go.
