Day October 4, 2026

This is one of those views customers don't usually get to see. Freshly poured wax, bare jars, wick clips everywhere and not a finished candle in sight. There's still quite a bit left to do before these are ready to leave the mountain.

Ever notice that little black ball that sometimes forms on the end of a candle wick? That's called mushrooming. It's pretty common, but it can also tell you something about how your candle is burning.

We could have taken the quicker route, but that's never really been our style. We're building the Fire Mountain website ourselves, one piece at a time, and learning plenty along the way. Here's a little look behind the scenes at what we've been working on.
